Hints
Suitable for use on almost all common car paint finishes. If an undesirable reaction with the paint is detected, stop the coating process immediately so that the corresponding component can be freed from the uncured graphene coating with a finish polishing step. Before the actual coating, the surface must be checked for compatibility in an inconspicuous place!
Spatial requirements for processing our Graphene Coat:
Choose a well-ventilated, clean and well-lit room.
Processing:
Process the painted surfaces to be sealed as part of the standard sealing preparation. (Cleaning, polishing etc.)
cleaning ; Clean the entire vehicle with a thorough wash.
kneading ; Knead the vehicle paint to remove any paint contamination.
polishing ; All painted surfaces must be polished before coating, this is essential for proper application! Depending on the condition of the paint, you can choose between a thorough one-step polishing process or multi-stage polishing processes. To avoid subsequent problems when coating, use “silicone-free” polishes like those you find in our range. (All of our polishes are silicone free).
Degreasing : Thoroughly degrease the pre-treated painted surfaces with a suitable agent such as isopropanol or silicone removers.
Application : Pour a small amount of “Graphene Coat” into a suitable coating applicator and spread over the paint surface. (Start with areas of a maximum of around 60cmx60cm to get a feel for the processing.) The “Graphene Coat” can be applied after 1-3 minutes. , “polished” with soft and clean microfiber cloths. Immediately afterwards check the coated surfaces in different light angles for any “high spots” (visible coating residues and wipe them away if necessary).
Drying phase (information may vary depending on climatic circumstances!) 24 hours = waterproof/ready to drive* 5 days = completely cured *The vehicle must not be washed in the first 5 days after coating. Heavy dirt such as bird droppings that occur during this time must be removed quickly and carefully with a light jet of water or a very soft microfiber cloth.
